What does the Students’ Union do?

  • Organises a wide range of exciting trips and social activities.
  • Holds an annual ‘Fresher’s Festival’, providing learners with access to both college and local support services as well as opportunities to access student discounts/freebies from local
    companies.
  • Organises a range of clubs and societies including cookery, cricket, Futsal and numerous other sports clubs.
  • Holds annual elections to select the Students’ Union Executive Committee – a group of 9 learners who assist in the development of the Students’ Union.
  • Provides information on student discounts, including TOTUM, the new NUS Extra card.
  • Provides opportunities for learners to become Student Governors.
  • Provides comfortable social spaces with Common Rooms at Burslem and Cauldon Campus.
