This qualification provides qualified technicians with essential knowledge and hands-on skills required to install, commission, service, maintain, and safely decommission air source heat pump systems in domestic settings.It covers key areas such as interpreting system designs, understanding heat pump technology, making electrical connections, integrating with existing heating systems, and configuring controls.
This is a nationally recognised qualification in the installation and maintenance of air source heat pump systems. The qualification is recognised by the Micro-generation Certification Scheme (MCS) registration bodies as an acceptable qualification to join one of their respective schemes.
