Stoke on Trent College expands list of Future Skills Pledge partners
Stoke on Trent College is delighted to have added a further two employers as Future Skills Pledge partners.
Joining our list of employers committed to sharing their skills and knowledge were local care provider, SureCare Stoke-on-Trent, and sustainable energy and renewable technologies company, Quantum.
Through the Stoke on Trent College Future Skills Pledge, employers aim to share their industry and organisation knowledge, further building a partnership with the college to showcase career pathways, and the exciting opportunities available in the world of work.
Our new partners visited our Cauldon Campus on Tuesday 17th March for a signing ceremony held at the Hammersley Restaurant and hosted by our Hospitality and Catering students.
By becoming Future Skills Pledge partners, employers commit to engage with the college in a way that benefits learning and careers.
Employers will help us identify skills gaps within industry, shape course content, and work collaboratively to provide training opportunities.

SureCare Stoke-on-Trent provide care, assistance and support in ways that have positive outcomes for their clients.
SureCare Stoke-on-Trent founder, Lily Man, said: We really value the relationship that we have with Stoke on Trent College.
We hope to build on that partnership, sharing skills, particularly training skills, giving the students industry experience, and qualifications, from an industry perspective.
We also look forward to building a pipeline of new, young students who are keen to get into day-to-day work.”
Jade Husson, Business Development at Quantum Group said: “Signing a Skills Pledge with Stoke on Trent College is very important to Quantum.
We want to make this a sustainable long-term partnership whereby we come in with industry links, advice and provide curriculum knowledge.
We are here to provide as much support as needed.”
