Why Stoke on Trent College for ESOL?

This is a full-time course offered to 16-18 year olds for whom English is not their first language. The programme is designed to give students the language and study skills necessary to access further study programmes within FE, and provide them with the essential skills to live and work in the UK. Students attend ESOL classes from pre-entry to E3 and you will be placed in the right class for you based on an initial assessment.

Our E3 course is unique. The E3 Vocational Pathway is split into modules, each one with a focus on a different vocational area such as construction, public services or health and social care every 3 or 4 weeks culminating in either a hands on practical taster session or an external visitor who will come and share the realities of work in their sector.

Hamza, ESOL Student

I have really enjoyed being a part of Stoke on Trent College. I have learned a lot of new things during my time at the college and made many good friends. I also enjoyed the trips we went on. Stoke on Trent College has given me more opportunities and experiences than I expected. Thank you for everything.
