Course Summary

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is an introduction to teaching that will give an insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, how to plan and deliver inclusive teaching sessions and how to assess and give constructive feedback.
Within this course you will develop knowledge skills and behaviours that are focused around:
*Roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training
*Inclusive teaching and learning approaches
*Being able to deliver and facilitate learning and development for individuals

How Is It Taught

Sessions will include an engaging blend of theory and practical activities, which will enable learners to develop and practise their skills to standards expected in the workplace. Regular additional self-study is required, which will include reading of relevant books and journal articles. This course can be delivered full time over a 1-week period. What Could I do Next

If you have a full teaching role, you may wish to progress to the Certificate in Education and Training. Alternatively, if you are assessing NVQs/VQs, you may wish to complete the CAVA qualification. If you are coaching staff in the workplace, you may wish to consider the Level 3 Certificate in Coaching.

This is an intensive course so full attendance at each session is very important. Who is this qualification for? *For individuals who work, or want to work as teachers/trainers in the further education and skills sector *For individuals who are not in a teaching/training role, or who have just started a teaching/training role *For individuals who want a short qualification to enable them to make career choices *For individuals who have already achieved some Learning and Development units that can be carried forward into this qualification.
