Entry Requirements
You must hold a recognised assessor qualification (such as the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent) and be actively involved in the assessment process within your organisation. You will also need access to at least two assessors whose work you can internally quality assure as part of your practical assessment.
How Is It Assessed
Assessment is through a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates your competence in planning, carrying out, and recording internal quality assurance activities. This will include observations of your practice, written assignments, professional discussions, and the submission of supporting documentation. All assessments are based on real work scenarios.

The course is delivered through a blended learning model, combining face-to-face workshops with online learning and tutorials. You’ll access a range of digital resources and complete activities designed to build your practical understanding of IQA practices.

Successful completion of this award can lead to: The Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice. Advanced roles such as Lead IQA or Quality Manager. Progression into teaching, training, or educational management roles.

You will need to be working in a setting where internal quality assurance is carried out. Access to at least two assessors is essential to meet the practical requirements of the qualification.
