Course Summary

With this qualification there’s no need for any prior accounting knowledge. This qualification will give you a solid background in single entry bookkeeping.
This is a basic entry-level qualification and can provide a solid grounding for students with no previous bookkeeping knowledge or experience, before moving on to the foundation-level qualifications.
On successful completion of this course, you be eligible to start the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping course. Please see information on progression below.

How Is It Assessed

This course is assessed through computer-based assessment, which draws on and assesses knowledge and understanding from across the qualification.

How Is It Taught

On campus, you benefit from regular classes with a college tutor – Your tutor will review what you have learnt during your lessons and will be on hand to provide guidance on progress and assessment. Regular discussion with classmates will help to reinforce key points while also providing the additional support and motivation that comes from being part of a group.
