Results Day Summer 2021
This page is to confirm arrangements for Stoke-on-Trent College students who are expecting results in summer 2021 for GCSEs, BTEC and other vocational qualifications that have been subject to Teacher Assessed Grades. Note that the results days are slightly earlier this year.
Your teachers and Head of Learning have worked closely with the exam boards to submit Teacher Assessed Grades for your subjects. These grades have formed the basis of your confirmed results and are in line with College predictions.
We appreciate that this is always a stressful time, and even more so after the ‘different’ academic year we’ve just experienced, so your support and understanding is appreciated. We believe that you should be rightly proud of your hard work and we wish you all the best for your future studies and career.
Level 3 Results Day – Tuesday 10th August
If you have just completed your level 3 year 2 course lookout for a letter inviting you in to collect your results in person on Tuesday 10th August, 10am – 2pm from our Cauldon Campus reception. If you are collecting your results, where possible please only attend campus alone or with one family/friend only. If you decide not to collect your results on this day, they will be posted to you.
Don’t worry if you don’t receive an invitation your results will be posted to you.
GCSEs – Thursday 12th August
Students will be able to collect their results, from the college campus they studied their GCSE, on Thursday 12th August between 10am – 2pm. If you are collecting your results, where possible please only attend campus alone or with one family/friend only. If you decide not to collect your results on this day, they will be posted to you.
BTEC & Other Vocational Qualifications
All BTEC and other vocational results will be posted to students this year. Please do not attend college to collect your results unless otherwise advised via a letter. Results will be made available to students on 10th August for Level 3 and 12th August for Level 1 & 2 Qualifications that were processed as Teacher Assessed Grades. Results will be emailed and posted to all students.
Appeals Process
The results for many students have been calculated differently this year. Ofqual has published a guide that you may find useful. You can access this information by clicking on the link below.
