Stoke City Football Education Academy Development Day
The Stoke City Football Education Academy (FEA) will be hosting a development day on Tuesday, February 22 for prospective players to get a taste of what’s to come in the 2022/23 season.
The FEA programme combines the chance to represent the club in the EFL Community Education Alliance League alongside studying at Stoke-on-Trent College.
The sessions are open to boys and girls currently in Year 10 and 11 who are looking to join the men’s and women’s 16-18 programme.
Football Education Academy Lead, David Beswick, is looking forward to seeing players back on the grass: “It’s always good to get an opportunity to work with the players on a regular basis and we have seen a real benefit over the past three seasons of the development days as it helps coaches and players get used to each other in preparation for the season ahead
The sessions will take place on the following dates at Longton Rugby Club, Sir Stanley Matthews Way, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 8WG:
Tuesday, February 22 – 10am-12pm (Boys)
Tuesday, February 22 – 1pm-2.30pm (Girls)
