We've received a number of enquiries regarding a situation at our Cauldon Campus earlier this morning. A distressed individual entered the college’s Cauldon site before students arrived and in line with safeguarding procedures, police were contacted and, as a precaution, access to buildings was temporarily restricted to ensure the safety of staff and students.
Police attended promptly, supported the individual and escorted them from the premises. The college opened as normal from 9:00am. We thank the emergency services and our staff for their swift response.
