Stoke on Trent College partners with leading facades innovator to deliver specialist upskilling and training

Stoke on Trent College has partnered with Benx Facades in a first-of-its-kind collaboration.

The partnership with the college and the major UK construction supplier will see students and staff benefit from specialist training and upskilling.

It is the first time a further education college has partnered with Benx to deliver bespoke training that boosts technical skills, promotes safe practice, and offers valuable pathways into employment.

By directly connecting education with industry led training, this partnership strengthens technical expertise in modern methods of construction, supporting safe, high-quality installation and improving progression into meaningful employment for learners.

Steven Michael, Assistant Principal – Skills and Green Technology at Stoke on Trent College said “Stoke on Trent College is proud to be working in partnership with BENX as the first further education College to collaborate with them on specialist upskilling and industrial update opportunities for educational staff.

This initial programme focuses on advanced façade systems training and reflects a shared recognition of the growing importance of building envelope competence within modern construction.

By directly connecting education with industry led training, this partnership strengthens technical expertise in modern methods of construction, supporting safe, high quality installation and improving progression into meaningful employment for learners.

The collaboration with BENX will add clear value to learners at Stoke on Trent College, with this specialist training embedded into the College’s existing construction curriculum to ensure it remains current, relevant and industry aligned.”
