Course Summary

This course is designed for anyone who would like to learn some basic practical skills in plumbing including pipe bending and making soldered joints. The L1 Award is a City & Guilds qualification which focuses on the basic practical principles for the absolute novice to build confidence and underpinning knowledge.

As you will be completing a short introductory qualification some assessment of your skills is needed, this will mostly take place in the workshop area.

How Is It Taught

Most of the course will be taught in the workshop environment with some theory delivery to help you understand the trade. This will give you as much time as possible to practice your skills.
